Genres We Consider

 

 

We specialize in all kinds of women's fiction and novels with strong female characters. But we like men, too, so we will consider any well-written novels and publish them under our "Men With Pens" imprint.  We will also accept nonfiction that addresses compelling social issues.

Women's Fiction

We are especially interested in upscale women's fiction. These novels may contain elements of romance but not necessarily happy-ever-after endings. They often involve female growth and empowerment. We are not interested in urban chic lit.

Family Saga

Focusing on the loves, lives, dramas, traumas of several generations of a family.

Science fiction, fantasy, futuristic

WWW may accept both those novels that fall within the romance category and those that have only romantic elements or little to no romance.

Mystery

We are open to the full range of mysteries, from soft to hard including cozies, procedurals, historical mysteries, and contemporary PIs.

Children's Chapter Books

We will consider well-written children's chapter books, especially those with strong female characters. No picture books at this time.

Thrillers

Thrill us with your edge-of-the-seat suspense story. We are open to all types and very eager to find psychological, legal, medical, and political thrillers.

Nonfiction

Issues we are interested in: women's, environmental, health, and multi-cultural. Open to other suggestions.

Submissions

Submissions are closed until January 2013. After that date, query by email only. Send email query to wildwomenwriterspublishing at gmail.com. (Change the "at" to @ and remove spaces.)

In the subject line of your query, please type your manuscript name and your name. 

In the body of the email, state the type of book you are submitting, word count, and a list of publishing credentials or information about you that may be relevant.

Send the first chapter of your manuscript within the body of your email, followed by a two-page synopsis.

Unsolicited emails containing attachments will not be opened. They will be deleted.

We will acknowledge receiving your query within a week. If we are interested in reading the rest of your manuscript, we will contact you within three months. If you haven't heard from us by then, it is okay to send an email reminding us of your submission. Simultaneous submissions are fine, as long as you notify us immediately upon acceptance elsewhere.

- MS Word

- Double Spaced

- 12 point Times New Roman

- Running header with your name and book title and page number on each page

- Title page: Include title of the work, approximate word count, your name, street address, phone number, e-mail address, and website URL (if available).
